Wehnwood United Methodist Church Community Orchestra
Wehnwood U.M.C. has been the home of the Wehnwood UMC Community Orchestra for the past 30 years. The 25 member plus ensemble performs twice a year. We play near the July 4th Sunday to celebrate "God and Country" and again the Sunday before Christmas to celebrate the coming of Christ our Lord. The orchestra meets on Sundays at 4:00 prior to the concert dates. The orchestra is under the direction of Amy Perchy and Tom Verzella. It is open to young players and older musicians alike, of all faiths. For more information about this group you may call Amy Perchy at 946-0906.

Looking ahead . . . The Orchestra will be performing its "God and County" program on Sunday June 27th at the 9:30 service. The public is invited to attend. The Church is handicap accessible and there is ample parking.

Our Choirs
Wehnwood has an adult choir that rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7:00. It is open to anyone that enjoys singing God's praises. The choir is under the direction of Sally Wenzel.
Wehnwood is also fortunate to have a Men's Choir that rehearses on the first and third Wednesdays of the month following the adult choir rehearsal. This group is open to all young and senior men who enjoy singing. No auditions are necessary for either choir and one does not have to be able read music to join. This choir is also under the direction of Sally Wenzel.
CHOIR DINNER
Anyone interested in joining our Sr. Choir or our Men's Choir is invited to a covered dish supper on Feb. 10th at 6.00 P.M. in the church basement. A rehearsal will follow the dinner hour to sight read through music for the upcoming Lenten and Easter season. All are welcome. No audition is necessary, just a desire to sing PRAISE to our Lord.

The Sr. Choir will be combining their talents once again with Juniata U.M.C. to present an Easter Cantata on March 28th. at 7:00 at Juniata Church. Rehearsals for the cantata will begin on Feb. 21st. at 2:30 at Juniata Church. All are welcome. No audition is necessary.
